Meet Bollywood’s biggest pranksters

New Delhi: So you thought that Indian cinema is all about Bollywood actors involved in some serious ‘acting’? If so, think twice, as when it comes to having a good laugh in the midst of so much work, some of our Bollywood stars have been the treasure troves of pranks.

On April Fool’s Day, Jagran Post takes you through some of B-Town’s biggest pranksters who made bakras out of their colleagues.

Akshay Kumar: When it comes to playing pranks, no one can beat Bollywood’s ‘Khiladi’. Vidya Balan was one of his preys during the shooting for ‘Heyy Baby’. On the sets of the movie, Akshay made a call to Vidya posing as an Australian journalist and requested for an interview. Doubting nothing, the Parineeta beauty agreed for the telephonic interaction. Akshay started his questionnaire and Vidya innocently answered all. Akshay had switched the speaker mode on in his phone and everyone heard Vidya’s answers. After completing the interview when she came out of her room, she saw people laughing frantically looking at her. She was then told about Akshay’s prank and was left red-faced.

Aamir Khan: Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist has known for his stand on social issues. But Aamir’s serious looks can be deceptive when it comes to being naughty in terms of pulling pranks. Aamir has been famous for his ‘spitting prank’. Ew! Disgusting, but true. Aamir would pretend to predict the future of his colleagues and then spit on their palms. He also used to

scare Madhuri Dixit on the sets of ‘Dil’ by suddenly approaching her from behind.

Abhishek Bachchan: Abhishek Bachchan is one of the major prank players in Bollywood as he hasn’t spared anyone he worked with including his beautiful wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. During the premiere of ‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey’, Aishwarya was at lobby after the event when Abhishek dragged her into a room and closed the door from behind. Later, did Ash realise that Abhishek has dragged her into men’s restroom when she saw men ogling at her. Realizing that her husband has played a prank on her, Ash burst out into peals of laughter.

Vidya Balan: She is the only female in this list and is only prankster whose name doesn’t start with an A. She might have become a prey to Akshay’s prank but she too is one of the naughtiest actresses of B-town. She pulled a fast one on Tusshar Kapoor while shooting The Dirty Picture. In a scene Tusshar was supposed to be blind folded. She enacted the scene as long as Tusshar could endure her many antics. He quietly accepted it all thinking it was the need of the scene. Later, it was broken to him that it was a prank and he just couldn’t believe.
